Certification of any structured cabling system is essential to ensure delivery of a
comprehensive and technically capable end product to the customer. In turn
installers demand accuracy and reliability in any certification tool
to ensure confidence in the service delivered.
The WireXpert, with a frequency range of 1 to 1600 MHz has been designed to meet all present but also all future cabling standards. Within less than a nine seconds autotest (for class Ea) the tester automatically performs all the required measurements. In the event of a "fail", the high-precision WireXpert diagnostics quickly identifies the source of the problem. The robust colour touch screen also offers an intuitive menu driven user interface with built-in help displays.
WireXpert's unique concept of offering two identical instruments as "Main" and "Remote" makes certification testing fast and efficient. The Dual Control System (DCS) offers
the installer the ultimate in efficiency: Previously it would be necessary to have two
technicians carrying out certification testing; now that job can also be done by one
person with the ability to start tests, interrogate results, and save data from any
end on the link. So whether the network is tested by two technicians or only one,
walking time between outlets is minimal.
The standard out-of the-box WireXpert already features the highest bandwidth today
including all necessary interfaces. User can upgrade the unit easily to enable new
functions and enhancements as further planned features become available. With the
optional fibre modules, WireXpert can easily be adapted to test and certify
multimode and singlemode fibres.
With WireXperts extensive memory capacity, all test results are stored complete
with graphical data. WireXpert includes ReportXpert, a PC based reporting software,
producing professional certification reports in summary and full certification formats.
