The Ekahau DBx Spectrum Analyzer is an accurate and easy to use USB device, designed to tackle the interference issues. A spectrum analyzer is a great addition to any Wi-Fi administrator's portfolio ? without one, many Wi-Fi issues will remain unseen. For one, the full benefits of 802.11n technology may not be realized without a spectrum analyzer.
It is essential to be able to detect non-Wi-Fi interference sources at all Wi-Fi frequencies ? in other words at 2.4GHz as well as 5GHz. The 5GHz frequency space is becoming more and more important for corporate networks, especially now that much of the benefits of the new 802.11n technology are realized at the 5GHz frequency space.
The DBx Spectrum Analyzer is certified for interoperability with other Ekahau products, and the Spectrum Analysis functionality can be started from Ekahau Site Survey user interface.
